GOD WILL CONTEND

Smiling,I came out from the delivery room,having ensured that both mother and child were stable. Hubby walked in through the entrance. He had gone for school run from the medical centre,learnt a woman was in labour and had come to help. He seemed happy but stressed. Something was wrong.

    The centre is eight months but more active than the clinic. Patient volume per day is enough to wear someone out. I tried finding out what the problem was,but his normal self is always happy. That,did not satisfy me.

Later,I learnt that the landlord of the centre keeps making unnecessary demands for money even after the rent for two years have been paid in full. He has asked for a sum of two hundred thousand for amaco glass at the centre to be paid to him because his former tenant that owns the glass was owning him. 

   After much squabbles,we agreed to pay a hundred for it as it wasn't our business and we were debt free.  It happened that the money was paid today yet,the man claims it is still remaining 100 thousand!!! For a matter that does not concern us. I got more infuriated than my husband. That was daytime robbery,wizardry and wickedness! 

My husband was calm because he concluded on them refunding him and removing the glass so that we can fix ours.(of course they can't)

  I was still bitter,cursing them in my spirit,seeking for a revenge till I saw hubby smiling again as if nothing happened. Then, God 's Peace came. The message was clear...i will contend with those that contend with you.Psalm 35:1.

Isaiah 41:11-"All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced...". It means that if  I could be sad and fight for my hubby's peace of mind though he was restful,then God will be restless until he deals with any one that troubles us (AND YOU).

  The cry of the newborn brought some chilling joy. I became cool again.

• INCEST can be defined as a sexual relationship between persons with co-sanguinous relationship either directly or indirectly. 

It is seen mainly among the Asians,Europe and Africa. It is predominant among the less privileged and dependant relatives. Victims most times,are females.
  Certain factors which predispose family members into the act of incest include,
1: Lack of exposure.
2: Misinformation and poor doctrine.
3: Less privileged.
4: Inappropriate dressing before relatives and siblings.
5: Deranged Childhood.
6: Alcoholism.
7: Living in isolation.
8: Blackmail.
9:Polygamous homes.
  The different relationship varies from
Father + daughter/step daughter.
Mother + son/step son.
Brother + Sister/half sister and vice versa,
Father/mother + inlaw.

The victimizer most of the time is an older relative. They are always afraid they will be fished and hence, monitor their victims actions and whereabouts. They ensure as much as possible that their preys have few communication with others...restricting their calls and internet connections. Always volatile and in various instances,less busy or unemployed.
On the other hand,the victims develop be into timid individuals,lack friends of opposite sex,become mentally deranged and object of sexual abuse.
 The pitfalls of this  singular act can be very overwhelming on both parties. They undergo post traumatic syndrome,brain drain, sexually transmitted diseases,unwanted pregnancies,genetic diseases,spiritual bankruptcy,phobia for marriage ,generational curses and atimes,death.

My 5th Anniversary.-6/9/19

How it went...
I laid idling away.it was past 6am on a Friday.Everywhere was calm except the soft snore from my baby. He had slept late and was still curled up beside me. His daddy has rushed off earlier for an emergency and wasn't back yet.i tried having a mental plan of what the day will be like,or rather what it should be. It has been exactly 5 years since we got married and every 6th of September has always been unique-either we had a perfect dinner or we are out to the cinema.
  Today looms different. No outlines,no activity in view. The year has been ridiculously challenging yet,awesome. From one project to another,from one clinic to another we have been miraculously pulling through. Though our jobs have been very demanding,we have always endeavored to create time for ourselves.
    Hmmmmm...speaking of time,hubby came in to announce the safe delivery of one of our patients,with a smile and screamed "Happy Anniversary to us"! We had a little chat..... Then,my day begun.
     To the kitchen,I made a quick snacks and tea,played hide and seek with my baby,took a shower and dashed off to work. "Thank God is Friday" doesn't really work for me because,it is my antenatal days and I would have to summarize the week activity for auditing coupled with getting ready for my anniversary!!. Clinic was quite busy,saw a couple of patients,finished my paper work and headed off to a nearby store to pick hubby s present I had ordered earlier . By 4pm,I was already rushing when my love pulled over. Hop in.....he smiled. He had taken off  at work to assist me run the ANC clinic..(as if he knew I was tired). Within 2hours,we were done . Sent for our baby and his cousins and voooooommmmm!!! Party time.
     Back to my bed,i prayed and thanked God for a wonderful day,days, years HE has seen us through. And to my one in million times hubby for being the best for me.
6th September 2019 wasn't dull afterall. "Always repping". Counting down to 12th September...Jesus baby on board.

For every action they say,there is an equal reaction. But,I have come to realize that for every action,there are ripples of reaction.The effects of staying home with the kids is of paramount importance and cannot be over-emphasized. Why our next door neighbors behave they way they do is because they were trained to function that way, education notwitstanding. This is the reason(s) we have official theives, selfish presidents,mean teachers,heartless doctors,corrupt legal practitioners,criminal politicians, abusive husbands, irresponsible wives and incorrigible youths.
If "Dave"was taught that idleness leads to poverty,even during an economic melt down,he will go create a job. When we can afford basic education,let us ensure they study and make good grades. In situations we can't,let them learn trades and skills. Failure to uphold these,leads to a bunch of lunatics endowed with excuses why they can't survive without committing a crime. When as guardians,we live within our means,these futures of tomorrow come to understand that it is a privilege and not a right, to have a benefactor. Intuitively,they become self-disciplined.
Show them the light,and they will blaze the trail. Imbibing the fear of God into them while at home speaks more volumes than ever. It makes every other aspect easier. However,this singular tool has always been abused over time. People maim,rape,kill and commit other sorts of atrocities because the lack the understanding of the fear of God and moreso,the implications such acts bring to their generations. The first knowledge a child should know about the Creator should be from their parents/guardians lips. There is a clear difference between homework,class work and church work!

A greater percentage of  the violence and mishaps breeding in our different societies today is as a result of neglected roles,lackadaisical attitudes of parents and lack of fear of one's creator. As every tree that stands has a root,so is each one of us. Our strengths and weaknesses, humility and excesses started from the confines of the home. So, who is to blame?
  Societal and economic pressures have long made the guardians of the home to abandon the most important responsibility of raising a child to a better person for themselves and for the public. It has become a norm for parents to leave for their various buisnesses as early as possible and return whilst their wards are far asleep. No time to sit and interact,teach nor correct. These little ones pick knowledge along the way,the media having a great ton on them.Hence,we end up creating wealth that cannot be sustained.

On the other hand, availability does not mean effectuality. Most of these parents keep missing the point. They fail to apprehend that children are highly sensitive and grow by adaptation. For instance,from fighting each other before the kids,to wearing inappropriate clothes or even allowing them to wear same,it is not right. Some of us are so lazy that even without jobs,we still seek for helps when our adolescents cannot tidy their own rooms. Day by day,they leave for school and at the sound of a break,we whisk them away for holidays. Please at whose expense?
