History of Pandemic And Internet(1)

Many questions have risen out of speculations and maybe fear that the current COVID-19 pandemic is related to the launching of 5G network.
Are they mere conspiracy theories or fear of the unknown? Let's take a peep into the history of Pandemics

  1. 430BC-this originated from Athens. it was characterized by fever,thirst,bloody throat, tongue lesions and skin lesion. Not much was known of this outbreak but,it was said to have had much mortality.
  2. 165AD - Antonnie Plague. It began with the Huns. The Huns infected the Germans,the Germans infected the Romans. Visitors from Rome spread it round. It was characterized by fever,sore throat diarrhoea and/or Pus filled sores.
  3. 250AD -Cyprian Plague. It began in Cyprus. The city dwellers fled and spread it round from Ethiopia to North Africa to Rome to Egypt then Northwards. It repeated on 3occasions till 444AD.
  4. 541AD- Justinian Plague. It appeared first in Egypt,spread to the Palestine then, throughout the Mediterranean. Recurrence over the next 2years eventually killed 50million people. It was the first significant bubonic plague. It was characterized by enlarged lymphatic gland and is carried by y Ray's and spread by fleas. (There was no internet then).
  5. 11th Century- Leprosy. Thought to be punishment from the God that ran in families. This belief led to moral judgement and ostracization be of victims. It spread more in Europe.
  6. 1350 - The Black Death. This pandemic was responsible for the Death of one third of the world population. It was the second largest outbreak of bubonic plague. It possibly started in Asia. Dead bodies became so prevalent that many remained rotting on the ground. It made England and France call a truce because they were severely incapacitated.
  7. 1492 - The Columbian Exchange. Following the arrival of the Spanish in the Caribbean, diseases were passed by the Europeans. 90% of the indigenous people died throughout the North and South continent.
  8. 1520 -Aztec Empire. Destroyed by smallpox infection.
  9. 1817 -First Cholera pandemic. Originated in Russia. 1million people died. Until the vaccine was created in 1885,the spread reached the British soldiers,to Indians and all over the world.
  10. 1855 -3RD Plague Pandemic. Started in China and claimed 15million lives. It lasted for 5years and was initially spread by fleas during the morning boom in Yunnan.
  11. 1889 -Russian Flu. The flu started I. Serbia and Kazakhstan. It travelled to Moscow then spread to the rest of the world. 360,000 people died.
  12. 1918 Spanish Flu - it was an Avian borne flu. First observed in Europe and resulted in 50million deaths
  13. Asian Flu - Started in Hong Kong and claimed 1.1million lives worldwide.
  14. 1981-HIV/AIDS. It was firsted observed in America Gay communities but believed to have developed from a Chimpanzee virus in West Africa.
  15. 2003 - SARS/MERS. Originated from China.
  16. 2019 - COVID-19. First reported case was on the 14th November,2019 in Wuhan,China. It was called CORONAVIRUS and was christened COVID-19 February 2020. It was first discovered by a Chinese Ophthalmologist who later died of the virus. So far,the pandemic hit most in China,Italy and America. Many assume it is could be a bioweapon or one of the signs of Endtime but scientist still believe that is like other pandemics that has happened before,no strings attached. Coincidentally,the 5th generation (5G) Internet which is assumed has lethal radioactive was launched in Wuhan,China on the 1st of Nov 2019.
