Forgiveness is at the heart of Christianity. It is about needing,seeking and finding that forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
Exercising forgiveness as a Christian recognizes two things:
The fallen nature of humanity-that we are human and we are all prone to sin.
The redeeming work of Jesus Christ on the cross--that Jesus Christ came and died for all the sins si all people who would receive that forgiveness,how however gross the sin.
