The Master Plan

You expected much,but see,it turned out to be little. What you brought home,i blew away. Why?... because of my house which remains a ruin,while each of you is busy with his own house.(Haggi 1:9)

    As the year rounds up,it is advisable that one recounts his steps and make amends where necessary. If things have not been working or not going as planned till now,then it is time to rebuild yourself-the Master's house.

     The next four(4) steps (Haggi 1:7-8 )will make the rest of the year count for you.

1. Give careful thought to your ways.   Identify  what the problem is and how you missed it. Projects yet undone? Recurrent breakdowns?Static Careers? Write them down.
2. Go up into the mountains:                                  Set up a prayer and fasting for yourself or your house hold. Deal with  procastination,deal with hatred,jealousy,pride.  Starve that immoral act,self righteous and idolatry.
3.   Bring down the Timber:                                      Timber is the wood for building. Ask for forgiveness and likewise,forgive one another. Cultivate love. Help one another.
4. 4.Then Build.                                                            Stone after stone,applying the timber day by day. Do not be discouraged by your speed. Most times,your destination is more important than the speed. Work with patience even when you don't seem to see any change.

Certainly,the glory of this present house,WILL BE GREATER than the glory of the former house.(Haggi2:6-9).
